The Heraldry Society of Scotland is delighted to
announce the publication of "An Ordinary of Scottish Arms pre-1672" by Eilean
and John Malden and William G. Scott.
An Ordinary, Armory and Gazeteer compiled from 75 armorial manuscripts
pre-dating the 1672 Act which set up the Lyon Register of Arms and Armorial
Bearings.
An A4 hardback book 571 pages and 25,000 individual blazons have been distilled
into this handsome volume which is profusely illustrated in colour throughout.
